DENVER (KDVR) -- A driver was pronounced dead after a Monday morning crash on Interstate 25 near City of Cuernavaca Park.
At 2:22 a.m., the Denver Police Department posted on X about a single motorist crash that closed Interstate 25 in the area of northbound I-25 at 20th Street. At the time, police said there were serious injuries.
I-25 was closed for several hours on Monday morning before reopening around 6 a.m. Just before 6 a.m., traffic was backed up on I-25 as far back as West 8th Avenue.
