A barricaded suspect in a Vista home prompted a SWAT standoff that stretched from the late morning into the mid-afternoon Wednesday, authorities said.
Special weapons and tactics personnel were dispatched shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday to the 700 block of North Citrus Avenue, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
The stalemate was ongoing as of 3:30 p.m., Lt. Jessica Boegler said. The Sheriff’s Crisis Negotiation Team also responded.
