The regulator, which operates under the Islamic Republic ofIran Broadcasting (IRIB), announced that Nasim TV had violated editorialguidelines concerning regional sensitivities. The segment was part of apre-recorded political satire program.
In a public apology, Nasim TV acknowledged that thebroadcast had “overlooked certain political boundaries concerning neighboringcountries” and described the incident as ''unintentional''.
