The Regional Transportation District A Line trains linking Denver International Airport and the downtown Union Station will be disrupted for maintenance April 26 thorugh May 8, transit officials announced on Monday, advising travelers they’ll need extra time.
RTD crews will be working to replace curved tracks to improve safety and reliability, officials said.
Starting on Saturday at 7 a.m., bus shuttles will carry travelers between Union Station and the RTD Central Park station in northeast Denver. The shuttle schedules “will not mirror regular train schedules,” officials said in an emailed announcement.
Bus shuttle boarding locations downtown are planned at Gate B22 in the Union Station underground bus concourse; the 38th and Blake Station; the 40th and Colorado Station; and the Central Park Station.
RTD officials said travelers can find shuttle options and maintance updates on a service disruptions website.
