Around 11:21 p.m., a 44-year-old man was riding a bicycle on 78th Avenue and crossing International Boulevard when he was hit by a vehicle headed eastbound, according to the Oakland Police Department.
The bicyclist was transported to a hospital by ambulance where he later died.
