The Padres and Pirates have agreed to a trade of non-roster players, reports Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Catcher Brett Sullivan goes to the Pirates in exchange for outfielder Bryce Johnson and cash considerations. Neither player was on a 40-man roster at the time of the deal and they won’t immediately take roster spots with their new clubs.
