Bhubaneswar: Ramachandra Satpathy, AEE( Asst. Executive Engineer), Attamallick Block in Angul district has come under the scanner of Odisha Vigilance for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
Based on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets to his known source of income by Satpathy, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the Vigilance sleuths led by 7 DSPs, 15 Inspectors, and other supporting staff at eight places in Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, and Kalahandi districts linked with Satpathy.
The raids are being conducted on the strength of the search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.
The places include residential house of Satpathy located at Ward No.15, Plot no.12, Gayatri Nagar, Dhenkanal; his Govt. Quarter located at Attamallick Town; office room of Satpathy l at Panchayat Samiti Office, Attamallick; his paternal house at Banasingh, PS- Sadar, Dhenkanal; residential house of his in-law located at Junagarh, Kalahandi; house of his in-law located at village- Karamula, PS – Gandia, Dhenkanal; residential house of another in-law located at Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi and structure built over Plot at Bachhipur, Trisulia, Barang, Cuttack.
