NORTH CAROLINA (PINPOINT WEATHER) -- We are dealing with a very wet start to the week, with our first washout in quite some time. Expect rounds of rainfall throughout the day, which will be heavy at times.
Expect the rain to shift east of the region by this Monday evening and overnight, leaving behind 1-3" of rainfall across the Carolinas. Very beneficial rainfall for the area, bringing both pollen and wildfire relief. Also, this helps the drought conditions.
