The Weld County health department will invite 20,000 randomly selected households to complete the 2025 Weld Community Health Survey.
The survey, “the most comprehensive source of health information on Weld County residents,” will launch Tuesday, according to a Weld County news release.
“Public health experts, municipal governments, health care providers and local nonprofits” rely on survey responses as a tool to better understand Weld County’s needs and health concerns, according to Olivia Egen, public health initiatives manager for the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment. The information also helps shape local services and health policies.
“The Weld Community Health Survey is more than just data — it’s the voice of our residents,” Weld County Commissioner Scott James said in the release. “It helps us, and our partners, make smarter, more targeted decisions to help improve public health and is a cornerstone of Weld County’s ongoing effort to create healthy, safe and livable communities.”
The 2025 survey will cover some of the most pressing issues county residents face, like “loneliness, housing costs and access to physical and mental health care,” according to the release.
