2025 Spring Sectionals- Four Corners
March 27-30, 2025 Austin, Texas SCY (25 yards) Meet Mobile: “2025 Four Corners Speedo Sectionals – Austin” Live Results Day 1 Recap Day 2 Recap Day 3 RecapMadi Mintenko closed her weekend in Austin strong after already posting numerous best times. Mintenko swam to her first win with a 1:56.36 200 IM, dropping from her previous lifetime best of a 1:58.73 that she swam at Winter Juniors. That time would have been 27th at last week’s NCAA Championships on the women’s side.
In the same session, Mintenko also swam a lifetime best of a 22.06 in the 50 free. That time would have been 5th on Virginia’s roster this season.
The final win on the girls side came from Paige Downey as she swam to a 16:04.45 in the 1650 freestyle, dropping 1.71 seconds off her lifetime best of a 16:06.16 that she swam at Winter Juniors. Downey is committed to Indiana for fall 2026. She has dropped over six seconds this season as her lifetime best was a 16:11.21 entering this season.
Gherman Prudnikau cruised to the win in the boys 1650 touching in a 15:13.10 dropping over nine seconds from his lifetime best. He also earned the win by over ten seconds as 15 year old Treyvn Krauss was 2nd in a 15:24.54. Prudnikau entered the season with a lifetime best of a 15:33.72.
The boys 50 free had two swimmers under 20 seconds as Ethan Reniewicki touched in a 19.80 ahead of Jordan Falls who swam a 19.95. Reniewicki’s previous lifetime best was a 20.12 that he swam earlier this month.
Falls earned his own win on the night as he won the 200 IM in a 1:46.81. The Air Force commit had a huge drop as he entered the meet with a lifetime best of a 1:52.70. His swim would have been #3 on the Air Force roster this past season.
