Six people in an alleged stolen vehicle were arrested after a police pursuit in National City ending in Chula Vista, authorities said Friday.
The pursuit occurred around 11 p.m. Thursday when a smart camera in National City notified officers of a vehicle that was reported stolen from the San Diego area, according to the National City Police Department.
Police officials said they attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver refused to stop and continued onto southbound Interstate 5. The vehicle then traveled east on State Route 54 and then to State Route 125.
The vehicle eventually halted near San Miguel Ranch Road in Chula Vista, according to police.
All occupants were taken into custody. Their names were not immediately available.
