Distributed by SpartanNash Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the affected product comes packaged in 12-ounce bags and includes a UPC of 0 70253 11080 1. The product in question also bears a "Best Before Date" of 08/03/25 with a time stamp of V 15:37 C. According to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), the recall—which is now classified as a Class II—affects 692 cases, with six bags per case, of the coffee and was distributed to retail stores and distribution centers in Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

While this mislabeling issue may not seem like a huge deal to some, it can actually pose a health risk to those who are not consumers of caffeine.
