A CUSTOMER at Dunkin’ received online attention after posting a popular food item with a key ingredient missing.
The Dunkin’ account responded hoping to patch things up.
A diner was left unsatisfied after purchasing Stuffed Bagel Minis at Dunkin’.
The product, which is supposed to contain a cream cheese filling, was served with little to no filling inside.
Gwyneth, username @Music_Girl_99 on X, posted a photo showing the disappointing product.
The picture showed the customer holding two Bagel Minis with bites taken out of them, and the interiors hollow.
In the post on X, she tagged the official Dunkin’ account for answers.
“@dunkindonuts these are ‘stuffed’ bagel minis?? Haven’t had these in quite awhile but man these are a lot less ‘stuffed’ now,” the user wrote.
The official Dunkin’ account responded within four minutes.
“Oh no! Sorry to hear this!” said Dunkin’.
“Please DM us so we can make this right! -DNKN Care.”
FAN REACTIONS
Dunkin’ customers and employees on social media praised the taste of the Stuffed Bagel Minis, but criticized their price.
“Who actually pays for this?” one Reddit user asked on a picture of the Bagel Minis.
“Imo they’re easier to eat than a bagel so if you’re in a rush like [on the way] to work/school/etc. they’re good,” one user responded.
“I also think they taste better than a bagel but that’s just me.
“I agree they’re overpriced though usually I get them free since I work at Dunkin’.”
“Before I was a baker I would work the drive thru overnights by myself,” another replied.
“I would always give people an extra order for free when they ordered these… They are delicious but way over priced.”
“I love how these taste but agree that price is way too high,” said another.
“Also I think the order should be (1) or (3), not (2). I’d price it at 99 cents for one, or three for $2.29.”
