Plenty of major Hollywood stars have been forced to undergo radical physical transformations in order to play a certain role—and it seems Matt Damon's latest starring turn requires a set of rock-hard abs.
In recent photos from the set of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey obtained by People, Damon was seen shirtless on a rocky hillside in Italy with a tattered beige pants tied around his waist. His beard was bushy and gray, and his hair—also gray—was wavy and windswept.

Damon's co-star, Zendaya, also appeared in the photos, wearing a long tan Grecian-style dress, her dark hair pulled back away from her face.

While it's not yet clear who Zendaya will be playing in the film, it was previously revealed that Damon will be playing the protagonist, Odysseus, while Tom Holland will star as his son, Telemachus.
