Boy shot in North Hills while trying to steal wheels, police say

A North Hills homeowner confronted suspects removing tires from his vehicle on the 600 block of Gledhill Street near Gloria Avenue in the early hours of Monday morning, March, 24, shooting and injuring one, police said.

The injured boy was taken to a local hospital, said Officer David Cuellar, a Los Angeles police spokesperson.

    The vehicle’s owner will not be charged with a crime, police say. The suspect may face a theft charge.

    The other suspects fled.
