(KRON) -- San Jose's police chief said a juvenile was detained after patrol officers were informed of an upcoming gang fight.
6 injured after stolen vehicle crashed into another car: SCCSOChief Anthony Mata said San Jose Police Department (SJPD) patrol officers also detained several other suspects in connection with the recent incident. The date and location of the incident was not disclosed.
Chief Mata said officers did a probation search at the home of a juvenile suspect. While there, they uncovered several weapons including an "illegally possessed firearm," a machete, an assortment of knives, among other items, said the police chief.
SJPD said the suspect was on juvenile probation for gun possession.
