GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A juvenile mother has lost her unborn baby, and two others were hurt after a shooting, according to Gastonia Police.
Just before 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, police say three people were hurt in a shooting at a hotel on Broadcast Street. One of the victims was a pregnant minor. Tragically, her unborn child died from the shooting.
The other victims who were shot, a man from Mooresboro and a woman from Kings Mountain, appear to have non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives say they are working to find out what led up to the shooting. This is an active investigation.
