User Experience
I have to admit that I didn’t know what to expect when I unwrapped the blanket. I’ve read some other reviews where some people think the packaging is excessive, but honestly, for this price level, I think it’s perfect. There is an exterior box for shipping and an interior box, which is more retail-styled. It’s a nice presentation and I especially like that the blanket comes with a storage bag. This is not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill blanket that you store on the back of the couch. You want to make sure you keep the remote and the power adapter with it. So the storage pouch is very helpful. It also makes it easy to travel with.
The blanket on its own — without the heating element — feels like luxury. It’s beautiful and very soft. I’ve used other heated materials and sometimes you can feel the coils inside. You really can’t feel the added heating elements in this blanket other than it gets warm. So far I’ve only had it on the lowest setting because that combined with the blanket material has kept me PLENTY warm. I can’t wait for super cold nights though because I can totally see this being a savior for me.
There are a couple of things that I would love to see improved. I love that the power port can be tucked away into a zippered pocket if you just want to use the blanket without the heat. That said, the button has become a toy for my Yorkie. For some reason, he thinks it’s something to chew on. Fortunately, I’ve caught him in the act and scolded him, but it’s still a target for furry family members. This is more of a caution to other pet owners because I honestly don’t know how that part could be improved. It’s pretty great on its own.
I think the only ‘issue’ I had was with the power adapter. It slipped out of the outlet it was in a couple of times because the cable was jostled while I was using the blanket. Again, aside from making the blanket rechargeable, I don’t see a ‘fix’ for this.

The JARTOO heated blanket is an amazing product and would make a fabulous gift for any blanket lover. I’m a fan and the only thing I need to figure out is how to use it without putting me to sleep!
