A fire damaged a McDonald’s restaurant in Spring Valley early Tuesday morning, keeping crews on scene for hours before they were finally able to get it under control.
The fire broke out at around 3 a.m. Tuesday at the fast food restaurant at 8730 Jamacha Blvd., according to San Miguel Fire & Rescue.
Fire officials said the blaze may have started in the basement before spreading to other parts of the building.
Firefighters knocked down the flames about three hours later, but crews remained on site for hotspot checks and cleanup, officials said.
No injuries were immediately reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
