The band became just as famous for its unforgettable live performances as its music, with Simmons’ trademark fire-breathing and blood-spitting routines becoming signature moments at nearly every show.
KISS embarked on its End of the Road World Tour in 2019 and played what was billed as its final concert in December 2023 at Madison Square Garden, bringing an end to decades of touring while leaving the door open for the band’s digital avatars to carry on the KISS legacy in new ways.
Today, Simmons remains one of rock’s most recognizable figures, proving that “The Demon” became much more than a stage nickname.
It became one of music’s most enduring personas.
