Evans police are investigating two separate shootings earlier this month that happened less than a quarter-mile apart.
The first shooting happened March 2 on San Juan Circle. The second shooting happened Friday morning on Whitney Way, according to a police department Facebook post. On Friday, Evans police were dispatched around 1 a.m. to several reports of shots fired, this time in the 3800 block of Whitney Way.
