The Point Loma Farmers Market has a new location at the Arts District Liberty Station, 2750 Dewey Road, Parking Lot E, at the corner of Historic Decatur and Chauncey Road.
The market will be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting March 22.
Operated by Devoted to Youth Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the market donates proceeds and provides assistance and training to underprivileged youth and families.
The new location will feature a variety of cultural foods, drinks, snacks, fresh organic produce, arts and crafts, and service vendors. A key addition is the partnership with Warren Walker Middle School and its School of Young Entrepreneurs project, giving students the opportunity to showcase their work.
Returning features include the Mothers’ Nursing Area and the Free Kids’ Area. The market will also introduce monthly themed events, such as Kids’ Day, live performances, art shows, and food demonstrations.
A new highlight will be San Diego’s first weekly Cars and Coffee meetup at a farmers market, creating a space for families and car enthusiasts to gather.
Arts District Liberty Station is known to be a hub for arts and culture, revitalizing 26 historic buildings at the former Naval Training Center. Visitors can experience art, culture, creativity, and cuisine in a historic setting designed to inspire and connect the community.
