In tonight's Tribal Council on Survivor 48, Jeff Probst called Vula one of the most dysfunctional tribes in the show's history. And they certainly proved it when they put pen to parchment. Between a successful Shot in the Dark play and a vote lost on a journey, a tribe of only four people somehow found themselves deadlocked after multiple rounds. In an instant, one player was left with his two closest allies' fates quite literally in his hands, the sole decision of who to save and who to snuff.Check out spoilers about tonight's below and find out who was voted out.Related: Everything to Know About Survivor 48
Who got voted off on Survivor 48 tonight?
Justin PioppiRobert Voets/CBS
Pizzeria manager Justin felt he had all the ingredients to make a deep (dish) run at the endgame. He was able to obscure an Ivy League education and a history of law behind a down-to-earth long-haired persona, something that quickly got him in with the majority of his tribe. Amidst all the interpersonal chaos around him, Justin easily found himself in one of the safest positions on the tribe. In fact, he was able to flip things on its head when, after Kevin came to him planning to turn on Sai, he subsequently turned the alliance back onto him. Unfortunately, the longer his game cooked, the more misshapen it got. After losing yet another challenge, Justin was sent on a journey, where he lost his vote in a game of chance. And when easy target Mary successfully played her Shot in the Dark, it kicked off a wild series of votes that all ended with the same outcome: A tie between Sai and Justin. Cedrek, Justin's number one ally, had kept him safe throughout this Tribal Council. But after a passionate argument from Sai, and a promise to make it work with Mary, Justin was bit in the rear by the colorectal surgeon, sent out in one of the most chaotic votes in the show's history.
Yes! After the challenge, Bianca, Justin, and Kamilla all went on a journey. The three played a Yahtzee-like game of chance, with a roll of the dice determining if they'd get an extra vote, or lose their vote. While Bianca and Justin both lost their vote, Kamilla successfully won, gaining an extra vote. Additionally, after playing coy all afternoon, Mary played her Shot in the Dark. For the third time in the new era, the Shot hit successfully, voiding all the votes against Mary and making sure she got to a much-needed swap.Related: Meet the Full Cast of Survivor 48
