Keke Palmer’s Favorite Hair Tip for Natural Hair
In an Instagram post from Feb. 18, Palmer shared that Black women have to “find their go-to style when it comes to natural hair,” and that’s what led to her loving her “classic” rod set look. This style made her realize that she could “get creative and have fun with [her] natural hair.” “As we’re growing up, and we’re understanding what’s supposed to be beautiful and how we fit in that, you don’t even know how sometimes it ends up making you feel about yourself,” Palmer said. In regards to Palmer’s most surprising hair tip for Black women, she tells Parade that it’s pretty uncomplicated. “[It's] actually a super simple one—letting your hair fully dry before fluffing,” she says. “I typically wear a flexi rod set when I have my natural hair out, and I’ve noticed less frizz and longer hairstyles between washes whenever I leave the rods in for enough time, or when I dry with a hair dryer.”
