Things continue to become worse for the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Now, former Pakistan Cricket Team legend Shahid Afridi has approached the BCB as he hasn’t received his full payment as the ambassador of the Chittagong Kings. The Pakistani all-rounder has asked the BCB to clear his payments.
The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) has also come under the scanner over mispayments. And Shahid Afridi is the new addition to the list. Recently, three Pakistanis left the league owing to a dispute over non-payment. Though Afridi had tried reaching the team management for clearing his payments, there has been no response from the Chittagong Kings.

This has prompted Afridi to contact the board. Reports claim that Afridi has emailed the BCB president Farooq Ahmed to resolve the matter. It is claimed that Afridi has claimed that there has been no communication from Chittagong Kings to pay his unresolved dues.
Afridi is determined to get his money back at all costs. If the BCB fails to address and resolve the matter, the Pakistani great will have no other option but to approach the heads of Pakistan and Bangladesh to solve the situation.
As things stand, the BCB is yet to send a response on the matter. But things don’t look good for BPL as it has brought out the sheer unprofessionalism nature of the league.
