CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- An early morning incident is under investigation after one person was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Charlotte Mecklenburg Police.
The incident happened before 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, on East 3rd Street near Interstate 277. East 3rd Street is currently closed as police investigate.
This was first reported as either a stabbing or fall, but officials have not said what actually happened, choosing to say that an "incident" was under investigation.
One person with life-threatening injuries was taken to nearby Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, according to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency (Medic).
