Camryn Bradshaw scored 11 points and Bridget Boyd sank all three of her 3-point attempts in the fourth quarter as El Toro’s girls basketball team held off host Gahr 36-34 in the CIF-SS Division 3A semifinals on Saturday.
In advancing to its first section final since 1999 in Division 1AA, El Toro (18-11) led 36-30 before Gahr scored four points in the final three seconds.
Boyd finished with nine points. Mia Cubacub also delivered in the fourth period by making 4 of 6 foul shots.
El Toro will play Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (22-7) in the final next week.

In Division 2A:
Rosary 53, Oak Hills 47: Kate Duarte had 18 points and 12 rebounds and Isabella Holmes added 13 points to lead the host Royals (18-11) to their first section final since 2017.
Second-seeded Rosary will play Rolling Hills Prep (21-8) in the finals. The Royals defeated the Huskies 55-45 in late December.
In Division 5AA:
Santa Ana 45, St. Pius X – St. Matthias 32: Kalleigh Solis scored 25 points to lead the host Saints (16-12) to their first section final since 2022.
The Saints will face Hillcrest (21-6) in the championship.
In the Open Division:
Fairmont Prep 69, Windward 65: The visiting Huskies (21-11) won their first Open Division game in program history.
