Bush Hager told People that she was convinced her husband would melt when actress Scarlett Johansson guest co-hosted the fourth hour of the Today show in January.
She joked that because of the Marvel star’s week-long stint by her side on Jenna & Friends, “it turns out it was me” who fell for Johansson.
The two bonded over several things while Johansson guested on the show, from life as a twin (Bush Hager has a twin sister, Barbara, while Johansson has a twin brother, Hunter), to having unusual names.
After Bush Hager griped that she struggled to find her name on souvenirs in gift shops while growing up, Johansson mused that “there were definitely no Scarletts” either.
Bush Hager wasn’t the only one who felt chemistry between her and Johansson, as the Lost in Translation star quipped “I work here now!” The former first daughter even went so far as to tease that she was going to cross out the “friends” in Jenna & Friends so it would say “Scarlett” instead.
