The Arizona Cardinals made a drastic change to the fan experience at State Farm Stadium for the 2024 season, adding field-level casitas for fans looking for a more premium time.
Team owner Michael Bidwill joined Arizona Sports’ Bickley & Marotta on the final day of Newsmakers Week to discuss the early returns on the luxury option, which the team initially called the “equivalent of beachfront property.”
“The field seats were incredibly successful,” Bidwill said on Friday. “Some of those folks (previously seated in the south end zone) got moved from the end zone to the sideline, and they were happier with their seats.
“And so what we’ve gotta do is we gotta look at this holistically (at) what’s best overall in terms of keeping the stadium fresh, in terms of keeping it competitive. So we’re gonna continue to make changes to improve that experience, and it’s just not at the higher end, it’s all throughout the stadium.”
Many of the recent improvements to the State Farm Stadium experience were made with luxury in mind, but Bidwill said continued improvements will impact fans all around the building.

“So you’re gonna see improvements in the terrace level, our upper deck,” Bidwill said. “You’re gonna continue to see, last year we made a bunch of changes with adding in locally-owned different food brands into our concession stands at all levels at all price points. People are gonna see even more of that this year.”
And as for the opposing fans who seem to invade the building with regularity? The owner said he’s found a solution for that as well.
