The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the body of a man who was found in Ocean Beach Wednesday.
Daniel Marron, 50-years-old, was spotted by a person jogging along the beach Wednesday, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The jogger then approached the water and noticed it was a body, then proceeded to notify a lifeguard, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office. Multiple lifeguards responded to the scene, and San Diego Police arrived on scene to confirm the death.
Marron, an Arizona Western College psychology professor, was on a canoe trip in San Diego, according to an article published by KAWC.
