Authorities have identified an apparent hit-and-run victim who was found dead next to an electric skateboard earlier this week in Vista.
A passerby found Heath Ogle, 35, in the 2200 block of North Santa Fe Avenue Wednesday night, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Investigators believe that Ogle, of Vista, had been struck by a vehicle.
At around 8:12 p.m. dispatchers received a report of a person down on Santa Fe, according to OnScene.TV. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
