SHERIFF’S REPORTS
The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office:
VANDALISM: Malissa L. Warner, 47, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Feb. 18 on suspicion of felony vandalism and violating her probation. She was arrested by the Ukiah Police Department.
DUI: Gini E. Betts, 54, of Fortuna, was booked at county jail Feb. 19 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested by the California Highway Patrol.
VANDALISM: Michael A. DeJong, 41, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Feb. 19 on suspicion of felony vandalism. He was arrested by the UPD.
RESISTING: Michael A. Langley, 35, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Feb. 19 on suspicion of resisting/threatening an officer and violating his probation. He was arrested by the UPD.
DUI: Kenny L. Nagle, 40, of Redwood Valley, was booked at county jail Feb. 20 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested by the UPD.
ROBBERY: Michael C. Owen, 36, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Feb. 20 on suspicion of robbery, resisting and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. He was arrested by the UPD.
POSSESSION OF TEAR GAS: Shyla L. Peters, 49, of Covelo, was booked at county jail Feb. 20 on suspicion of unlawfully possessing/using tear gas, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating her probation. She was arrested by the MCSO.
VEHICLE THEFT: Dominick A. Santino Jr, 21, of Texas, was booked at county jail Feb. 20 on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. He was arrested by the CHP.
DUI: Nicole Smith, 47, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Feb. 20 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and of leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage. She was arrested by the UPD.
ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPON AND AMMUNITION: Carlos A. White, 39, of Covelo, was booked at county jail Feb. 20 on suspicion of illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition, of discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner, of being armed with a firearm while committing a felony, violating his parole and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested by the MCSO.
Those arrested by law enforcement officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the information is in error should contact the appropriate agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcement agencies are reported by the newspaper. The Daily Journal makes no exceptions.
