How’s this for an “overreaction”? Conor McGregor will NEVER fight in BKFC.
Certainly it sounds good when McGregor vehemently and passionately says he will compete in BKFC one day, as he did this past Sunday during a press conference to promote an upcoming event in Italy.
“The warrior spirit burns strong inside me,” McGregor said. “For sure. If you think I’m up here giving these speeches and leading these men into battle and I won’t step in there myself, think again. For sure. Conor McGregor will fight in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship – mark my words.”
The reality, however, is that McGregor, even though he’s a BKFC co-owner, has two fights left on his UFC contract, and the chances are slim to none that the UFC would grant him permission to fight in BKFC.
On the latest edition of “Overreaction Time,” MMA Junkie’s Simon Samano and Farah Hannoun debate the likelihood of McGregor ever fighting in BKFC.
