2 suffer minor injuries in crash near schools in Sun Valley

Two people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, Feb. 18, near three schools in Sun Valley, where one of the vehicles rolled onto its side, authorities said.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 7:04 a.m. to 8500 N. Arleta Ave.

    Byrd Middle School, Robert H. Lewis High and Polytechnic High are in the area.

    A 49-year-old woman was treated and released at the scene.

    All of the occupants inside the vehicles were able to get out of them prior to the arrival of firefighters and paramedics.
