(KRON) – A man living in a shed was arrested after shooting into a neighbor’s home on Friday, according to the San Pablo Police Department.
A woman contacted the authorities to inform police someone shot bullets into her home. Responding police officers found two small caliber bullets inside a bedroom and noticed the bullets were shot from the neighbor’s backyard.
The officers then spoke to a 55-year-old man who lived in the neighbor's backyard shed. Inside his shed, San Pablo officers spotted a .22 caliber rifle, spent shell casings and more live bullets.
The suspect, who was not named, was a convicted felon who was not allowed to own guns, according to police. Methamphetamine was also found on the suspect, said San Pablo PD.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the county jail for multiple charges including shooting into an inhabited dwelling.
