What’s the format of the NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest?
All players get 70 seconds to shoot the balls placed around the three-point line. There is one “money ball” in every rack that’s worth two points as opposed to three. There’s one rack with five money balls that players can choose to have anywhere they want around the arc.
The top-three with the best scores will advance to the second round, where highest score wins.
If there’s a tie, there would be another round.
