India's veteran cricketer Virat Kohli might not be in great form but he is trying his best to maintain a light atmosphere in the dressing room. During the second ODI between India and England at Cuttack, Kohli was seen imitating Suryakumar Yadav's act of chewing the gum.
It happened during the second innings of the match when India were batting. Virat Kohli was seen in a light mood sitting in the pavilion along with the likes of Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Arshdeep Singh, and the fielding coach T Dilip.
As the players were seen enjoying the time, Kohli got up from his seat and almost perfectly emulated his teammate Suryakumar Yadav's chewing gum act. His hilarious expressions left the other players in splits.

Suryakumar Yadav is well known for his act of chewing the gum while batting at the crease. Currently, Suryakumar is not a part of India's ODI team but is the captain of the team in T20Is. He has received a great start as India's captain in the initial few games by winning every series he has led so far.
Virat Kohli's poor form continues
While Virat Kohli was seen in a light mood in the dressing room, his form didn't improve. Kohli walked in to bat to a large applause from the crowd at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. He came in when India were comfortably positioned at 136-1 in just 16.4 overs.
It was a perfect situation for Virat Kohli to score some crucial runs and get back into some form as India were well ahead of the required run rate and Rohit Sharma looking good at the other end.
However, Kohli was dismissed for just 5 off 8 balls by the legspinner Adil Rashid. It was a great delivery from Rashid who bowled it slower and got the ball to turn past Kohli's edge only to be taken brilliantly by the wicketkeeper Phil Salt behind the stumps.
Kohli didn't play the first ODI earlier due to a knee injury that he suffered on the match eve. However, it turned out to be a minor injury and the veteran batter became fit in time to be available for the second ODI match.
While he didn't score many runs, India were able to win the match comfortably in the end on the back of Rohit Sharma's superlative ton. India have now taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
Poor form in Tests
Virat has been in poor form in the last few months. He failed miserably in India's home Test season, aggregating just 192 runs in five Tests against Bangladesh and New Zealand at an average of 21.33.
In the following Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia, the former India captain scored 190 runs in five Tests at an average of 23.75. He was constantly troubled with balls outside his off stump as he continued to edge behind throughout the course of the series.
