CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- One person lost their life Friday morning after a shooting in northeast Charlotte, according to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency (MEDIC).
The deadly shooting was first reported around 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 in the 400 block of Stitt Road in the parking lot of the Ella B. Scarborough Community Resource Center.
MEDIC confirms the shooting appears to have happened in a vehicle. The person who was shot sadly passed away before they could be taken to a hospital.

The Ella B. Scarborough Community Resource Center offers several services to the community including child support, case management, veteran services, job search assistance, and more.
