Moderate gains in US stocks earlier today have turned to losses as some selling creeps in. I wouldn't say there is too much angst ahead of non-farm payrolls as there are plenty of disinflationary signals even if Friday's report is strong.
A bigger source of concern might be Amazon earnings after the bell. The company is trading 0.8% higher today and near record highs. I would say any big move tomorrow is likely to be about capex but there is always the risk of some negative comments about US or international consumers.
Another one to watch is Meta, which has now turned lower in a move that would end a 13-day winning streak.
