NEW ALBANY, Ohio (WCMH) -- An active shooter scene is being reported at a New Albany warehouse Tuesday night.
According to authorities, the shooting happened at a KDC/One building on the 8800 block of Smith Mill Road North at approximately 10:30 p.m. According to the New Albany Chamber of Commerce website, KDC/One manufactures cosmetics for LBrands stores.
Law enforcement officers said the scene was still very active and there is still a threat at the location.
A statement from New Albany police reads:
New Albany Police are responding to an active shooter situation at KDC/One. It is currently an active scene, and police are locking down the building. The suspect or suspects are unknown at this time. Residents should avoid the area. Anyone with information that can assist in the investigation should call NAPD at 614-855-1234
