From Jan. 29 to Feb. 4, Aldi will be selling a Serra Ladies Plush Full Zip Jacket for $14.99 in the Aldi Finds aisle of local U.S. stores. The jacket very much looks like how it sounds: it’s a full-zip jacket made from a furry, plush material. It also has a high collar that can cover your neck (and maybe even the lower part of your face) when fully zipped up.

The Aldi jacket comes in three color variations, all in this style: gray, navy and green. The navy is a standard navy blue, while the “gray” is a very light gray that almost seems like a cream or white. And the green is a mint green color.

As we mentioned before, this Aldi jacket is similar to Athleta’s Cloud Fleece Jacket, which is currently $139. Athleta’s jacket is made from a material that looks a little bit more like sherpa, while Aldi’s looks more like a furry, plush stuffed animal material. But the style is similar; the Cloud Fleece Jacket is a full-zip with a high collar. It doesn’t seem as fitted as Aldi’s, but it also has pockets (which are zippered).

Women's Los Gatos Fleece Jacket, $103.99 (originally $149) at Patagonia

And lastly, Aldi’s plush jacket is also similar to Patagonia’s Women's Los Gatos Fleece Jacket, which is currently on sale for $103.99 (it was originally $149). It’s made from material that looks a lot more like Aldi’s. It also has a full zipper front, high collar and pockets. Of course, it has the Patagonia logo on the left chest, but otherwise, it’s nearly the same as Aldi’s.
While you’re not going to get the quality at Aldi that you might get with higher-end brands like Athleta and Patagonia, a warm jacket is a warm jacket. So Aldi’s Serra Ladies Plush Full Zip Jacket might be worth checking out to see if it’ll help in a cold snap.
