Wrexham have signed Ryan Longman from Hull City for an undisclosed fee.
The winger signed a contract until the end of the 2026/27 season with an option of another year.
Longman across 478 minutes this season appeared nine times for Hull.
He was an academy graduate at Brighton & Hove Albion but never made a Premier League appearance.
On signing for the club, Longman said: “I’m over the moon and so glad that the deal is over the line.
“I’m really looking forward to being a part of this journey. I came to watch the game last night and the atmosphere was incredible.”
AFC Wimbledon secured Longman on loan during the 2020/21 season and was then loaned out to Hull the season after.
Later that campaign the versatile winger scored City’s Goal of the Season with a stunning strike against Everton in the Emirates FA Cup.
A move that became permanent in January 2022.
His final loan transfer was to Millwall last season where he appeared 35 times in the Championship scoring and assisting six times.
That includes a winner against Leicester City in April 2023.
On the signing, manager Phil Parkinson said: “We’re delighted to bring Ryan to the club. He’s an exciting young player and I’m really looking forward to working with him.”
Longman could make his debut against StevenageWrexham have their sights set on a third consecutive promotion that would see them rise from Non-League to the Championship.
They currently sit third but League One definitely has proved to be their hardest test yet.
The side captained by James McClean has tasted defeat five times and drawn seven matches this season.
