Fan voting for the 2025 Hobey Baker Memorial Award (college hockey’s Heisman Trophy) is now open, and there are four Blackhawks prospects who are nominees from their respective universities. Nominees were voted on by the coaches and fans at their respective universities.
Here are the four Blackhawks prospects who are nominees this year:

Sam Rinzel, Minnesota
Ryan Greene, Boston University
Sacha Boisvert, North Dakota

Current Blackhawks forward Ryan Donato was a finalist (top ten) in 2018. Other notable former Blackhawks players and prospects who were finalists in the last 20 years: Adam Gaudette, Dylan Sikura and Henrik Borgstrom (all also 2018), Anders Bjork (2017), Tyler Motte (2016), Tanner Kero (2015), Drew LeBlanc (2013), Viktor Stalberg (2009) and Ryan Putulny (2006).
