Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition in Assembly, Naveen Patnaik has expressed his concerns over the diarrhoea situation in Kanas block in Puri district.
Lop Naveen said that the diarrhoea outbreak has created a terrible situation Kanas block. Instead of bringing the situation under control, it is going uncontrolled. The diarrhoea is causing loss of life and posing a threat to the safety of life, Naveen said.
The state government should send special medial teams to deal with it and increase awareness programmes, he said.
Every life is precious, Naveen said while urging everyone to come forward to protect it. He also appealed to people to cooperate with the administration.
Diarrhoea outbreak claimed four lives and affected over 30 people in six panchayats under Kanas block, as per reports.
