SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KRON) -- The FBI served a warrant at the home of San Leandro City Councilmember Bryan Azevedo on Wednesday, the city confirmed to KRON4.
The reason for the warrant is currently unknown. The FBI confirmed that it "conducted court authorized law enforcement activity" at Azevedo's home on the 900 block of Dillo Street but did not say why it was there.
The San Leandro Police Department is not involved with the FBI investigation.
Azevedo works as a foreman for the Sheet Metal Workers, according to his bio on the City of San Leandro's website. His family has been in San Leandro for four generations.
KRON4 reached out to Azevedo for comment and have yet to receive a response.
