Former NC State defensive back Brandon Cisse will be continuing his career with the Gamecocks. South Carolina fans may remember Cisse as a prospect when he was coming out of Lakewood High School in Sumter back in the class of 2023.

Cisse is a significant addition for the Gamecocks. He played significant snaps for the Wolfpack in 2024, compiling a total of 28 tackles, 5 pass deflections and 2 tackles for loss. He’s projected to have an immediate role in South Carolina’s secondary next season.
South Carolina now has 13 transfers so far this cycle. The group sits at No. 15 in the national rankings, according to 247Sports. Cisse is the 2nd defensive back to join South Carolina’s transfer class so far as the Gamecocks look to solidify their pass defense efficiency in 2025. South Carolina ranked 3rd in the SEC in that category this past season.
Cisse will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
