Ace Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was overlooked for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, as the Tigers have decided to go with the young blood. Notably, former skipper Tamim Iqbal is not part of the squad as he has retired from international cricket.
However, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mushfiqur Rahim, Taskin Ahmed, and Mustafizur Rahman have made the cut to the 15-member squad led by Najmul Hossain Shanto.
