The LA County Department of Parks and Recreation is launching Care Camps starting Monday, Jan. 13 for children and teens affected by the wildfires.
Care Camps are designed to assist families displaced due to the Eaton fire or directly affected by the wildfires, according to a Park’s Department news release.
The camps for children 5 through 12 offers environments for learning, playing, and thriving “while parents focus on recovery.” Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some locations will offer programming for teens ages 13 to 17, those hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Camps will operate Monday, Jan. 13 through Friday, Jan. 31. Meals and snacks will be provided.

Pamela Park, 2236 Goodall Ave., Duarte
Pamela Park Care Camp for youth age 5-12
Pamela Park Teen Camp for teens age 13-17
Arcadia Park, 405 South Santa Anita Ave., Arcadia
Arcadia Care Camp for youth age 5-12
Arcadia Teen Camp for teens age 13-17
Crescenta Valley Community Regional Park , 3901 Dunsmore Ave., La Crescenta
Crescenta Valley Park Care Camp for youth age 5-12
LA County Arboretum, 301 N. Baldwin Ave., Arcadia
Arboretum Care Camp for youth age 5-12
