DENVER (KDVR) — Three suspects are wanted in connection to a shooting, several vehicle break-ins and an attempted burglary in Westminster.
According to Westminster police, early Saturday morning, a resident called about someone attempting to break into their vehicle near Winona Court and 72nd Avenue, north of Hidden Lake.
Shortly after, Westminster police said a business owner called after they reportedly confronted someone attempting to break into their business near 70th Avenue and Raleigh Street, about half a mile away from the first caller.
Witnesses told police that three male suspects took off in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. One suspect reportedly fired several rounds at a car near the intersection of 76th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.
The windshield was damaged, but the driver was not injured.
