Two juvenile boys were wounded in a New Year’s Eve shooting in Escondido, authorities said Wednesday.
The shooting was reported at about 11:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of East Third Avenue, according to the Escondido Police Department.
“Two unidentified male juveniles received non-life threatening injuries and were both transported to the hospital for treatment and are in stable condition,” Lt. Janice Kuehn said. “Suspects are unknown at this point.”
